Performing Arts
The US Theater Arts Program provides opportunities for creative collaboration in a variety of capacities, allowing for the collective display of individual talent and expression.

Students are required to participate in the theater arts one time during their four years in the Upper School, though involvement in multiple shows is common. To encourage participation, we provide a wide array of options, each offering its own unique contribution to the character and quality of the overall production:

  • Actor
  • Assistant Director during rehearsals
  • Crew Member
  • House Manager
  • Participant in one of the LS or MS shows (choreographer, stage manager, pit musician)
  • Pit Musician
  • Stage Manager during “tech weeks”

The Upper School typically stages three theater seasons per year:

  • Fall Drama (November)
  • Winter Musical (February/March)
  • Spring Student Productions (May, when scheduled)
