Athletics at King

The Athletic Programs are integral parts of every student’s experience while attending King. The Athletic Department offers a diverse and competitive program designed as a critical component of each student’s overall educational program. The range of offerings provides students with the opportunity to compete in a variety of Varsity, JV, and MS team sports. King strives to instill a true sense of sportsmanship in each student athlete, to prepare teams and individuals to perform at their very best, and to always focus on achieving victory when competing, while understanding that winning only has value when coupled with respect and compassion for our opponents.

Being an athlete at King means being a member of a team, committing oneself to a common goal, and giving 100% all of the time. King athletes are not only representatives of their teams, but also of their school. We believe our athletes should embody the positive attributes of sportsmanship, respect, teamwork, commitment, dependability, selflessness, loyalty, self-discipline, and a strong work ethic.
