King is proud to announce that the official net proceeds from our spring benefit – Reach for the Stars are in. The Parents’ Association will direct an impressive $270,512 to our campaign, Capitalizing on Excellence: A Campaign for King.

The Campaign has already supported the construction of the South Field Complex, and will fund the creation of a Performing Arts Center, and extensive renovations of the Upper School facility. A groundbreaking ceremony for the new Performing Arts Center was held on June 8, and construction is currently underway. This new facility will be completed by Fall 2011.

King is grateful to the many members of the Spring Event Committee – led by Lisa Molinaro – for organizing this special evening. “We are thrilled with the level of generosity displayed at this wonderful event,” says Head of School Tom Main. “The ongoing support of our parent community is key to our continued success as the school of choice in the Fairchester area.”
