| Ed Cesare '78, President Prior to assuming his role as President of the Board of Trustees, Ed was Vice President of the Board and an ex-officio member of the Board in his capacity as President of the King Alumni Board. He has a son in the Class of 2012.  A Personal Look: Ed is the Founder and Managing Member of Pleiad Capital Management, LLC, a company that invests in early stage businesses, primarily in the biomedical sector. Prior to founding Pleiad, Ed was a senior partner at Medici Medical Group, LLC and Vice-President at Edge Financial Group, Inc. He holds a B.A. with honors in American History from Connecticut College where he won the Alfred Sloan Prize for Original Thinking in Relation to an Understanding of History.
Ed and his wife, Christine, live in Norwalk with their son.

 | John Qua, Vice President John joined the Board in 2007. He is Chair of the Building & Grounds and PAC Building Committees, and serves on the Strategic Planning Committee and the Scholarship & Financial Aid Task Force. He has two sons in the Classes of 2008 and 2011. |

 | Edward Orenstein, Second Vice-President Ed joined the Board in 2003 and chaired the Annual Fund 2003-2006. He chairs Capitalizing on Excellence: A Campaign for King and is a member of the PAC Building, Development, and Marketing & Communications Committees. He has two sons and two daughters in the Classes of 2009, 2011, 2013, and 2016.
 A Personal Look: Ed is currently a portfolio manager at Silvermine Capital, a fixed income hedge fund in Mamaroneck, New York, having previously served as Managing Director at Greenwich Capital, Royal Bank of Scotland. He is a 21-year veteran of the firm who headed Global Liquid Markets for seven years and then worked in the Macro Hedge Fund Group. He has a B.A. from Duke University with a major in economics and accounting. Ed has served on the board of St. Luke's LifeWorks and was head of giving at The Children's School.
Ed and his wife, Claire, live in Darien with their four children.

 | Lori Murray, Secretary Lori joined the Board in 2008. She is the Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee and serves on the Mission Statement Review Task Force. Lori's children are in the Classes of 2008 and 2010. Lori's brother graduated from King School in 1976, making the King community an important and long-standing part of Lori's and her family's life. |

 | Peter Savitz, Treasurer Peter joined the Board in 2009. Peter graduated in the Class of 1974 from Weston High School in Weston, MA.  | Louis Paglia, At-Large Lou joined the Board in 2009. He serves on the Finance, Investment, and Development Committees. His daughter is a member of the Class of 2014. |

 | Melissa Thomson, At-Large Melissa joined the Board in 2006, and has served as a member at-large of the Executive Committee and as Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee. Currently, she serves on the Finance Committee and the Mission Statement Review Task Force. She has children in the Classes of 2018, 2015, and 2010.

| Susan Beyman Susan joined the Board in 2007 after serving as Funded Committees Chair on the Parents' Association Executive Board. She is the Chair of the Trusteeship Committee and serves on the Audit Committee. Her three sons are in the Classes of 2006, 2008, and 2011.
 A Personal Look: A former Counsel at Peoples Bank, Bridgeport, Susan has been an active volunteer in the community. She currently serves on the board of UJA/Federation of Westport, Weston, Wilton and Norwalk. She served on the board of the Preschool at the Norwalk Jewish Community Center and was President of the Parents’ Association at Gan Yeladim Preschool at Temple Shalom. She also served on the Steering Committee for the Silvermine Elementary School renovation project. Susan is a graduate of Cornell University and was elected to Omicron Nu National Honor Society. She received her law degree from Fordham University School of Law.

 | Eric Blattman Eric Blattman joined the Board in 2007 after having served on the Arts and Athletics Task Force. He currently serves on the Marketing & Communications Committee and the Scholarship & Financial Aid Task Force. His son is a member of the Class of 2014.
 A Personal Look: Eric is currently a private investor. In 1996, he founded Maple Row Partners, a hedge fund specializing in emerging growth stocks. Prior to Maple Row, he was a partner at Needham and Company.
Eric earned an AB in Political Science from Columbia College, where he earned Honorable Mention All-American football honors and lettered in baseball. He serves on the Baseball Advisory Board at Columbia and has served on the Board of Shakespeare on the Sound. Additionally, Eric coaches youth sports. His wife, Wendy, is an active volunteer at King Low Heywood Thomas.
Eric resides in Norwalk with his wife and their two children: Corey, and Jack, who is in the Class of 2014.

 | Thomas Conheeney Tom joined the Board in 2005 and served as Vice-President 2006-2008. He is the Chair of the Annual Fund Committee, and serves on the Finance, Development, and PAC Building Committees. He has twin sons in the Class of 2015 and a daughter in the Class of 2018.

A Personal Look: Tom is Chief Operating Officer of SAC Capital and has held that position since joining the firm in 1999. Prior to joining SAC, he served as President of Investment Management Services, Inc. Previously Tom worked for Goldman Sachs Trust Company, where he was Vice President in charge of daily operations, technology and client service. Tom is a graduate of St. Peters College, is involved in coaching youth sports and served as a host for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Fundraiser.
Tom and his wife, Roseann, live in New Canaan with their three children.

 | Sarita Hanley Sarita joined the Board in 2006 and is a member of Building & Grounds, Trusteeship, and Buildings & Grounds Committees. She has been involved as a Class Representative and a Phonathon volunteer. She has sons in the Classes of 2014 and 2018, as well as a daughter in the Class of 2010.  A Personal Look: Presently, Sarita is the General Contractor of a large residential project. Besides being involved in construction since 1994, for six years she organized a profitable summer camp for children at the Stamford Yacht Club. Prior to that, she was in the corporate world producing business conferences in the U.S. and in Mexico with the Institute for International Research. She has been an active volunteer in various charitable organizations since she moved to Connecticut 14 years ago. She attended the University of Pennsylvania and soon after went to receive her master's degree from NYU in Personnel Psychology with a specialty in Training and Development.

 | Timothy Joyce Tim joined the Board in 2007, having previously served on the Board of the New Canaan YMCA. Tim is the Chair fo the Investment Committee, and serves on the Finance and Trusteeship Committees. He and his wife have two sons in the Classes of 2014 and 2018 and a daughter in the Class of 2012.  A Personal Look: Tim is a partner at DiMaio Ahmad Capital in New York City. DA Capital was spun out of Credit Suisse Alternative Capital, Inc. in 2005. Tim attended Iona Prep and graduated from Georgetown University. |

 Fred KuntzmanFred served previously on the Board of Trustees from 2003-2005. In 2005, his family left King as he accepted a relocation position within his firm, Ernst and Young, LLP. After four years, the Kuntzmans have returned to King. Fred currently has one daughter in the Upper School. Prior to his relocation, Fred sat on the Finance and Strategic Planning Committees and the Scholarship and Financial Aid Task Force. He currently is a member of the Finance Committee and is Chair of the Audit Committee.  Fred served previously on the Board of Trustees from 2003-2005. In 2005, his family left King as he accepted a relocation position within his firm, Ernst and Young, LLP. After four years, the Kuntzmans have returned to King.  | Diane Martin-Tryhane Diane joined the Board in 2006. She serves as Co-Chair of the Development Committee, and is a member of the Trusteeship Committee. She is the immediate past Chair of the Annual Fund, having previously served as a longtime Annual Fund volunteer. She also served on the PA Executive Board as Treasurer for two years. She has children in the Class of 2009 and 2013.
 A Personal Look: Diane is a Certified Public Accountant and a partner in the firm of Martin, DeCruze and Company, LLP (MDCO). She has practiced public accounting for 25 years and formerly worked for KPMG (formerly Peat, Marwick, Mitchell). Professionally, she is a member of the American Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. In the past, she served as Chair of the Committee for Relations with Banks and other Financial Institutions and as a member of the Continuing Professional Education Committee.
Active in the community, Diane most recently was, on the Board of Advisors of The New Convenant House of Hospitality, often referred to as the "Soup Kitchen." Diane has been Treasurer and a Board member of the Stamford Chamber of Commerce, Assistant Treasurer and Board member of the Stamford Yacht Club, Treasurer and Board member of The Children's School (formerly The Children's Learning Center) and Treasurer and Board member of Literacy Volunteers of America, Inc. (Stamford/Greenwich) and member of the Board of Trustees of the First United Methodist Church in Greenwich. She graduated cum laude from the University of Bridgeport while working her way through college.

 | John McDermott '78 Jay joined the Board in 2007 and graduated from King School in 1978. Jay’s brothers, Doug and Dave, graduated from King in 1983 and 1984, respectively, while his sister Leslie graduated from Low-Heywood in 1986. John serves on the Buildings & Grounds and Development Committees. Jay has two daughters in the classes of 2012 and 2020 and a son in the class of 2015.
 A Personal Look: Jay graduated from Union College and earned a graduate diploma in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics. He also received an MBA from New York University. He is Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns Companies, Inc.
The McDermott family established the Patricia McDermott Memorial Fund for Professional Development in Jay’s mother’s memory. The award is presented annually at commencement.

 Susan (Sue) MirzaSue has one child at King in the Upper School. Her family has been at King for five years. Sue is the co-founder of the Muzzi Mirza Pancreatic Cancer Prevention & Genetics Program at The Pancreas Center at Columbia University Medical Center/New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She is on the Advisory Council of the Kroc Institute of Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame and is the Co-Founder of Save the Children Greenwich Leadership Council.
Sue received her BA from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA from New York University. Professionally, Sue spent 15 years in banking and private equity.  Sue has one child at King in the Upper School. Her family has been at King for five years.  | Samuel Molinaro Sam joined the Board in 2005. He is the Chair of the Scholarship & Financial Aid Task Force, and serves on the Finance and Investment Committees. He has a daughter and a son in the Classes of 2011 and 2015.  A Personal Look: Sam is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Bear Stearns Companies Inc. He is a member of the Company’s Executive Committee and Management and Compensation Committee. He is also a Senior Managing Director and member of the Board of Directors of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. and Bear, Stearns Securities Corp. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, Sam was with Price Waterhouse for six years. Sam received his B.B.A. degree in accounting from St. Bonaventure University and he has completed The Harvard Business School Corporate Financial Management Program. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of St. Bonaventure University in Olean, New York.

 | Yvonne Powell Yvonne joined the Board in 2009. Yvonne is a full professor at La Guardia Community College of the City University of New York, where she has worked since 1981. She has served on the Board of Directors of academic institutions ranging from the Mathematics Association of America – New York metropolitan region – to the northeastern section of Black American Affairs for Two-Year Colleges. She is a member of the Strategic Planning Committee and the Benefits Task Force. Her daughter is a member of the Class of 2008. |

 | Christine Rosenblum Prior to joining the Board in 2007, Chris served as an an ex-officio Board member in her role as PA President. She is a member of the Trusteeship, Marketing & Communications, and PAC Building Committees. Her son has been at King since PreK and is in the Class of 2013.  A Personal Look: Chris graduated from CW Post/Long Island University with a B.A. in Communication Arts. She was formerly Director of Marketing for Group W Communications, and Director of Marketing for Time Warner Cable’s Queens Division. She is the recipient of the NYC Child Abuse Prevention Program’s Founder’s Award. An avid quilter, Chris and her husband Barry reside in Stamford and have three children: Daniel, who attends King Low Heywood Thomas; Julie, a speech pathologist in Hartford; and Brian, a pilot with US Airways.

 Tim Tully ’82Tim has three children in the Middle and Upper Schools at King. The Tullys have been at King for five years. Tim is employed at Tully Capital Partners as a Financial Advisor and investor. He has sat on the Audit and Investment Committees at King and presently sits on the Finance and Investment Committees. Amy has two children at King and has been with the School for 12 years.
